The campsite is located in the middle of the Thuringian Forest, on the edge of the VESSERTAL biosphere reserve and is a quiet spot under deciduous trees. Far away from traffic noise, the ideal place for a comfortable stay, to find relaxation and peace, to unwind and to enjoy life. The many hiking trails and cycle paths offer thousands of opportunities to experience nature in all its fascination.
Therme, riding stables, cross-country skiing, downhill run approx. 15 km

the location is very nice, unfortunately there is no supply, waste disposal and the only pub nearby is only open Fri Sat Sun, for supplies you have to go to Schleusingen. The asking €30 per day for camper electricity is clearly not reasonable.

Large campsite with an attached natural swimming pool, which is getting a bit old. It was fully occupied on the Ascension weekend, but we got a place on the meadow below. This is in a nice and quiet location, but also a bit away from the supply building.
