Burkheim is the ideal place to visit a rural winegrowers´ cooperative with excellent wines and enjoy a stroll through the medieval city.

Burkheim is an idyllic community near Vogtsburg Kaiserstuhl. Above the town is a large parking lot for Womos toll-developed. The place can be reached if you leave at the entrance to the winery on your left and a few meters later - just before the Stadtto, right comes up the steep road. (Do not worry, we have with our 8.30 m Concorde made the pitch slightly. Burkheim is useful winery with excellent wines to visit rural and one through the medieval town to enjoy a walk. Especially on Wednesdays offers an evening tour with a night watchman at explaining the particularities of the place vividly. Otherwise, the evening is rather the light in the city deleted, but which prevents anyone to enjoy in the Womo purchased wine.
