Very nice trail parking lot right on the Werra.. The local stone bridge is said to be the oldest (anno 1200) Thuringia.. Next to it there is an old chapel (1500 years old) under big trees, a sitting area is available.. In the village about 1 km everything is available.. Very nice little castle about 1 km away, in the courtyard is a 500 year old lime tree.. WARNING dogs owner: dogs should not be allowed in the river is very saline, by the potash mining.
