Really right on the sea (only separated by a path and dike). Great view of container ship traffic from the dike. Please read comments!Always well attended! There are snack bars right next door: Here you can eat really well (e.g. crabs with scrambled eggs and fried potatoes) and relax with a glass of beer or wine. Not to forget the huge, great children´s playground in the immediate vicinity as well as the animal and spa park.

The only thing that makes this place interesting is the location directly behind the dike, but only for visitors without dogs. Because dogs are only allowed to be kept on a leash on the top of the dike. Prohibited all year round on the promenade and on the beach. Clear thumbs down from our Great Dane. Motorhomes can currently only choose between 12 hours for 10 euros, 1 day for 17 euros and 2 days 34 or 3 days 51 euros as a parking fee.

The parking space fees have increased to 17 euros24 hours. 10 euros if you only want to stay 10 hours. The fee can be paid at the ATM using a card or hard money. An inspector comes by at different times every day and you can also pay. The inspector also brings the registration certificate, collects the tourist tax and also issues the spa ID card with the code number for the garbage boxes. No problem. There is a Christmas market in the adjacent spa park with a daily visit from Santa Claus. Open even today on Christmas Eve.

We were at this place from 122223 to 12/24. The fees have increased from 15 to 17 euros since our last visit today, plus tourist tax, which varies depending on the season. @Electricity from the machine should be kept a close eye on: I put in 4 euros (i.e. 4 kw) in the evening with a full set-up and heating/fridge on gas, which was supposedly already used up the following morning. After a complaint to the groundskeeper/controller, the electricity machine was checked and I was refunded my 4 euros without any problem. I don´t know whether an error was found. After that, I kept checking the machine display and the power consumption went back to normal. @You also have to pay the full parking space price plus the tourist tax if all power outlets are occupied. There is no right to a power connection. @When we got there on December 22nd, there were only us and another mobile home on the parking space. At the turn of the year we stood with 95 others on the square, some of whom, who only arrived on the afternoon of December 31st, complained loudly about the fact that they didn´t get an electricity connection and still had to pay the full price. @In order to get fresh water, it is not enough to have a one-euro piece. You have to take it to the accountant or the spa administration and exchange it for a chip. You can just throw that into the machine and get around 60L of fresh water. But only if you repeatedly press the red dispensing button on the machine. This is easiest to do with two people because you can only hear the water running at the motorhome filler neck. @Otherwise we had a great turn of the year here, met lots of new motorhome drivers and took long walks with the dog along the beach. This parking space is not one of the hotspots in Cuxhaven at the turn of the year, but, as far as we have seen, it is the cheapest in terms of price. Plus, at the turn of the year, it´s a lot quieter and more relaxed, especially with a dog. . . if you ignore a few constant complainers. . .

Very nice groundskeeper. Nevertheless we left the place because of the danger from too many vaccinated people. @The place was converted to make it suitable for corona. Nice place, right by the sea. Unfortunately, the power supply is unsuitable because there is only one distribution box and if you are further away you cannot get there. Otherwise catering in the immediate vicinity. The place is well attended.
