Very nicely laid out parking space, some spaces located on a large meadow, behind which lies the Ederufer. Approximately 2 km to the Eder dam and a further 2 km to the Waldeck lido, very nice network of cycle paths around the Edersee.
Interesting: About 300m to the EON hydroelectric power station, from there you can take a funicular up a mountain where there are large water reservoirs. Above also a snack station (mountain hut) and a beautiful view of the Edertal. Possible to go down by funicular, hike or bike (a few bikes can be taken up with the cable car).

A very nice place. @ Overnight stay for Womos under 8m still costs 6 euros, over 8m costs 10 euros. @Electricity is quite expensive at 1 euro per kWh. @Electricity must be paid with 1 euro coins, the parking fee also with coins, but can also be paid via mobile phone without additional costs (Parkster app: is easy to use, payment later via invoice by e-mail)

Nice, partly shady place on the Eder in summer it can get quite crowded. Payment is now made with a machine, which is emptied daily by a representative of the regulatory office. In summer a bread cart comes in the morning, but there is also a small shop and a butcher in town (a short walk away). There is also a daily open booth with smoked fish.

Neat and quiet place. Very comfortable when you can stand in the front of the meadow. Good starting point for hikes. Cable car not in operation in June 2020 due to Corona. Ederseeschifffahrt only offered round trips, ie no combination of hiking - part of the route by boat - hiking possible.
