Nice place, long and quiet except for the train. Unfortunately very unfriendly reception. Arrived unannounced and were directed to a place in full sun (at 34 degrees) because everything should be full. In the evening at 9 p.m. 8 shady parking spaces are still safely free. Reception open only at 9 a.m. and 6 p.m. Call number does not work because Etzelwang has no network. New guests before us entered the reception in twos or threes. I all one, but when my husband handed the required passport, he was scolded as to why he was coming in. A pre-registered couple came before 6 p.m., couldn´t call and put up a tent, but had to break off because it wasn´t the space foreseen by the reception (with so many free spaces). We were scolded that we arrived unannounced because the whole of Germany was fully occupied.Was our last camping in 2 totally problem-free weeks. Not a good feeling here. Was it because of our yellow license plate or that we only stayed 1 night? Not a repetition for us although we are often in the area. By the way, very, very nice camping guests, many of them with permanent parking spaces. Because of that we blew after all.
