ATTENTION: Closed from April 2, 24 to July 21, 24 due to Hessentag and the horse market Place opened in May 2015 in the Ederauen local recreation area, located directly on the Edersee cycle path. From there it is only a 10-minute walk to the old town center of the cathedral imperial city of Fritzlar. Water is available for a donation
In the immediate vicinity: Ederauen adventure pool (heated outdoor pool), sports and leisure park, cinema, bowling, brewery with beer garden
Closed in the 2nd and 3rd week of July due to the horse market.
The ´Ederaue´ motorhome parking space is open in December for the ´Christmas Market´ and ´Advent in the Höfen´ events. Please ask the Fritzlar Tourist Information Office (Tel. 05622 988-643) for current dates.

One of the largest fish farms in Germany is located 500m away, where you can buy great, fresh fish at a reasonable price. Walking paths in the Ederauen. The shooting range is annoying when in use. There was large caliber shooting there on Sundays and the dogs in the area were going crazy. Because of Corona, a circus was also stranded on the neighboring site. But wasn´t annoying.
