The large area can also be used as a campsite. Together with many day visitors, there was a fair atmosphere here on a Saturday in July. Nothing for hikers looking for peace and quiet (advertising slogan ´Geba der Wanderberg´) during the high season.

Top location, quiet with great views. Good starting point for hikes. Also popular with hobby astronomers, for whom there are platforms for setting up telescopes and, upon prior notice, electricity for the devices. Because of Corona the catering was closed and therefore no supply or disposal possible.
