Greetsiel is a small, pretty town in East Friesland. There is a large camper place very close to the twin mills. The way to town is not far. The square is very large, also has waste disposal and a sani station. Very close by, roughly opposite the mills, you will find another disposal facility at the gas station and friendly help if necessary. There is also gas there.
The parking space fee includes visitor´s tax.

We arrived at the pitch around 1:00 p.m. it was well attended for the time of year (13 occupied). None of the power columns worked properly. A SP neighbor could over the tourist info (not the operator!) the city administration. inform (although Sat. !). Within 1/2 hour, someone was on site who made all power columns functional again. But there was free electricity for every 8 hours. Being off-season, the neighboring bypass was very quiet. The tourist tax is NOT included in the fee! The Mühlencafe also has fresh bread rolls on Sundays. {mod}great service from the community!! In order not to create any confusion: the tourist tax is always included in our prices, as it is mandatory. Thank you for the upgrade.

Place closed until April 2nd, 2022, because according to the municipality there are no staff available for monitoring the corona rules. However, you can stay overnight in the large car park in front of it. However, electricity is not available there. Price for 24 hours = 9.00 euros.

The place is wonderfully located right next to the twin mills and is also very popular. It makes sense to arrive as early as possible in the afternoon to get a seat. Satellite reception is more likely on the left side of the square, otherwise the trees are in the way. You can walk to the center of the village with lots of shops and beautiful buildings in less than 10 minutes. Always worth a trip.
