I´ll put it this way :-): @ I stood several times in the spring to park in the parking lot. And yes, you can stay overnight there too. What I wouldn´t do though: @ The parking lot is very well frequented by hikers (m/f/d) in good weather. And since the square isn´t very big, it quickly fills up with cars. Therefore, I would spend the night in the nearby parking lot of the Sababurg Zoo (there is no problem there) and leave this parking lot to the visitors of the Sababurg Forest. There is no other (alternative) parking space around the corner for visitors to the jungle if the parking space described here is occupied by mobile homes. When I was there, a larger motorhome was on the site for a long time.

It is a secluded parking lot right in the forest and surrounded by tall trees. Well suited for visiting the jungle. You have to be very close to nature if you want to stay there.
