Nice place that is occupied from around Easter to around October, so it is open. But be careful! After around 7 p.m. (sometimes even until 10 p.m.) you can only park in front of the gate for one night. The place is officially open from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., and earlier and longer depending on the activity and season. The area is closed outside of opening times. It is a car park (sandy ground) that belongs to the fenced-in area of the Emsland Baggerpark. In addition to a small snack bar, the place has electricity and toilets. Waste disposal on request. Showers are available by prior arrangement. From here you can go on wonderful hikes into the nearby nature. On the site you can drive excavators, quads, motorbikes and off-road vehicles every day (for a fee). There is also a playground and the possibility to grill and have a campfire. This site should not necessarily be used just as a parking space, the owners are also happy when the attractions are used. About the owners: You are dealing with very nice, uncomplicated and sociable people there who will also fulfill one or two (feasible) wishes of yours. Just ask, only people who can speak can be helped.
