Paved parking lot, partly shaded location, relatively quiet area. Camping is prohibited on the RV park. The shortest way to the bakery is through the playground.
Beautiful little place on the German Edelstein Street, with a historic town center.
As soon as you walk through the gate at the clock tower, you feel like you´ve been transported back to the last century.
At Cafe Zehntscheune you can get very good cakes and regional dishes.
Stellplatz and location are definitely recommended.

It was once free!@Now the site is part of Alpacacamping and costs 12.90 euros per night. Lt. However, the website is all inclusive, even though the fresh water was turned off when we visited. Not because of the risk of frost, because the toilet cassette can still be flushed. @It´s that easy to generate money: just hang up a few signs that the place is now subject to a fee and the money will start flowing into the till. Nothing has changed, the small garbage can on the lawn is as full as ever. Alternatively, you can stand in the large parking lot, but then without electricity.

We stayed here for 3 nights again and were able to recover well. Nice weather and no hustle and bustle, what more could you ask for? The place was clean, the toilet building was open, the electricity price remained the same and V and E are still free.

Always happy for a quiet weekend with long walks and grandma´s dumplings in the tithe barn. The Spiesbraten or Kassler are also highly recommended. The prices are still moderate.

We stayed here over the Christmas period at the end of 2022. The water is shut off over the winter and the toilet blocks are closed. The electricity worked. The toilet cassette can be disposed of despite the water being turned off. To rinse the cassette you can go up the street about 50m to the left of the stream and take water from a spring on the mountain slope. Caution: no drinking water! Fill the cassette and flush the disposal with it. . . If you can´t get a seat in the restaurant, you can also take the food with you in the containers you brought with you and eat it in the mobile home, we did that on Christmas Day because the restaurant was fully booked to the last seat.

The place was well attended on September 3rd, 2022. The caravan sites were occupied and we slept in the large parking lot. Water is still free of charge, electricity still only costs 1 euro/24h.

We stood here very quietly again. In addition to the 3 occupied parking spaces, we were on the site with 11 other mobiles. The toilet house is open again continuously, the Zehnthoscheune restaurant is open again normally from 12 p.m. to 8 p.m. The currently applicable 3G corona rules apply.

We stayed here for 2 nights over the weekend of Pentecost. For the first time driving a motorhome again after the pandemic. Here everything is as before, electricity costs 1 euro, and there is no limit to the withdrawal time. See pictures from May 23, 21st. To be fair, you should spend one euro per day, as the V and E and the drinking water extraction are also free. Unfortunately, due to the pandemic, the Zehnthofscheune was only open as Cick and Go, only on Sundays and public holidays between 12 p.m. and 2 p.m. If the 3 actual parking spaces are occupied, you can also use the adjacent large parking lot. We stood here for a total of 3 nights over a weekend. Have made beautiful hikes and stopped in the Zehnthofscheune. The only point deduction in the B emergency the rubbish bins overflowed and were not emptied, despite the fact that the place was very well attended over the weekend and the city administration is only about 250m away down the street. There was no response to my hint there.
