The site is ideally suited as a base for bike tours along the RMD Canal, both in the direction of Berching and to Schwabach and Nuremberg. But it is also ideal for a few days of vacation in quiet surroundings. Saturdays at around 8 a.m. bread service from the Brandmeyer bakery on site
The old town and the Hilpoltstein castle ruins are worth a visit. There is a very cozy beer garden in the courtyard of the city museum. In addition to bike paths, the nearby Rothsee offers beautiful bathing spots and can be reached on foot. After rain, some mobile homes “sunk” on the sites. Unfortunately, not all holidaymakers dispose of their rubbish properly. We received cash in the evening. Unfortunately, almost all restaurants in town were closed (holidays).

Very nice place, right on the canal. Supply, disposal at the parking space on the opposite lake. Dumpster in place. Very well attended in the season. Then you park back and forth! Nice little place in the area. There are also a few shady spots.

Access is in the direction of Hilpoltstein Rothsee / Allersberg. Turn around 500 m behind the city limits (Edeka-market) in a valley, even before the RMD-bridge on the right (signposted). In the direction of Allersberg Rothsee / Hilpoltstein drive, past the Rothsee, the RMD canal bridge and after 200 m left einfahren.Der place is ideal as a base for cycling along the RMD Canal in both direction and after Berching Schwabach and Nuremberg.
