Hikers´ car park, right next to a torrent, and a restaurant with good and abundant cuisine and a large garden. Lots of hiking trails. Leisurely hike to the Frillensee, very beautiful and exciting, also very suitable for children (from /- 5 years), comfortably there and back with a break in about 4 hours. Here from the pitch more directly Entry to the Zwiesel (1770m), only for experienced people, with good mountain equipment, surefootedness and a head for heights you should be. The ascent is snow on the shady side until June. You will be rewarded with wonderful views, approx. 6 hours there back. The path is very steep.
Then you can continue to hike to Hohe Staufen, relatively easy ridge hike to the hut approx. 3 hours back. but very rewarding, you can stop there in the mountain hut and also spend the night,or bivouac and let the sun wake you up is much nicer.
