The pitches close to the street have no electricity or - if there are still sockets further ahead - need a very long cable. @@Places can be reserved = call!@In the summer on the weekends there is a shoe seller on site - someone may need it.

When we arrived late Saturday morning, almost all the seats in the front row, near the shore, were still free. The layer of gravel keeps your feet dry, and there are enough power poles. The location is very nice. You can buy wine and canned sausage and vacuum-packed meat in the small wooden hut in the registration area. The baker comes every day, including Sundays! Unfortunately there is nothing else going on in Kesten at this time of year, no shop, no gastronomy. That doesn´t start again until May. @Small bright spot was the ice cream car, the strawberry cup highly recommended!

A disadvantage of this place is the somewhat cumbersome disposal station for vehicles with a WC TANK. @ If the fence or paneling of the station were narrower, the mobile home could be driven over the disposal funnel.
