The price may be higher during Kiel Week. The place is partly quite oblique. It is almost directly on the keel line. The operator is the operator of Kanalplatz (818362). No waterbus connection to downtown directly in front of the square.

It is a good three kilometers from the parking space to the old town and a good two kilometers to the Holtenauer Schleuse. At the place we could not find a Dixie toilet, supply, disposal or power connections. However, we did not find any indication of any fees. There is no parking machine and no cashier. It´s very quiet here. There were six other campers in the square.
