We were here again for a few days for a couple of nice bike rides through the southern Palatinate. It was quite busy for mid-September and mediocre weather (11 vehicles in one day).

Quiet and well-equipped place, which is also offered free of charge. The rubbish bin right next to it has a smaller opening, but that should be enough for daily rubbish. 50ct for 1000w are fine. @A short hike to the castle is worth it for the view alone. The short ascent is less than 2km from the site. But the last 500m is tough. @In the village there is a bakery and a butcher´s shop and a supermarket. What more do we want?

Very nice place. Unfortunately, the local driving school used the neighboring square in the evening for motorcycle driving training (but that too was done at some point (smiley)). Good starting point for hikes

The place is very quiet at the park and close to the village. Hiking maps can be loaded onto the mobile phone using a QR code. The signposting of the hiking trails is exemplary. The place offers enough places to stop for a break, a museum, Palatinate lifestyle and even fitness equipment in the park. A wonderful place to stay. (We visited the place but didn´t use it because of the corona lockdown). A hike is in www. Travel punch. de, article dated April 19, 2020
