According to a notice from the district government, caravans and mobile homes are forbidden for overnight stays, as are barbecues etc. The sign hangs at the entrance to the circular path around the maar towards the outdoor pool. One could of course be so subtle and say that the prohibition applies from this sign towards the outdoor swimming pool because it is at a barrier to the circular path. I think that with common sense you should apply the ban to the entire parking lot. When we visited on September 30, 2020, the parking ticket machine was out of order.

Magnificent parking lot with garbage can and wonderful nature to walk around the Maar.. The daily price for parking is currently 1.50 euros.. The park is free from 20 hrs.. Wedges are required.. Wonderfully quiet at night
