Camping München-Thalkirchen
Simple campsite with tight pitches. Snack on site. Near the Hellabrunn Zoo and the Maria Einsiedel outdoor pool with river landscape and heated pool. Bus stop right at the entrance, therefore convenient for trips to the city center RV parking spaces are very narrow, caravan parking spaces can also be booked, which means a little more space. During Oktoberfest the place is extremely full and there is a surcharge.

It´s being renovated at the moment, so only part of it is available, so it´s very full. The rest of the sanitary facilities are just about working. Everything costs extra, with coins from reception. 1 coin = €2.20 for showers and washing dishes! Toilet use is still free.

Very good location for exploring the city by bike. Overall, the place is showing its age and extensive renovation work has been announced. The atmosphere was more like a parking space than a campsite.

We found the place to be very pleasant, mainly because of the very nice surroundings. The place is spacious and quiet. You can choose your own place. The sanitary facilities are a bit older, but clean. @The Hellabrunn Zoo can be reached on foot in approx. 20 minutes. @It´s a special spectacle when the rafts with a boozy crew land across from the square in the afternoon. The loading of the logs from which the rafts are built is also impressive.

Generously laid out space, also suitable for large Womos. Sanitary buildings partially closed, the open ones are no longer completely modern, but ok. ID card will only be given back on departure. Fantastically beautiful bike path along the Isar to the city center, approx. 7 km.
