In our opinion, this parking space is the No. 1 in Murnau. The best pitches are at the west end of the square. There is a narrow strip of lawn, behind it, steeply sloping, are some allotments, which are not accessible via the square. At night it is pleasantly quiet here because the B 2, which runs past the square, is lowered into the terrain from here. The place is not only free, you also have a wonderful view of the Estergebirge and the Wank and across to the Benediktenwand. Please do not stand on the asphalted areas, they belong to the REWE store!!! Please also note that the parking lot is only available for WOMOs up to a maximum of 7.5 t. Footpaths and cycle paths lead right past the square, and it´s just 10 minutes to Murnau´s market square (town center).
