I can only agree with Haantourer: This is a rip-off from the city of Norden. Nothing has changed in the space conditions, except that the mud meadow in the northern part of the space has been drained and gravelled. (Are you trying to amortize the investment over a short period of time?) I have not received a wage increase in this area. So the same applies to me: I will avoid this place, despite years of short visits that have not always been documented here.

It was then parked on all possible green spaces. @The parking situation at the large car park at Ocean Wave has changed as follows: all entry and exit barriers have been removed. At all parts of the square there are parking machines where you can buy a parking ticket for motorhomes for a maximum of 3 days. But then you can buy a new ticket. The registration takes place in the container opposite the V / E.

In the week after carnival, the main square was about 30% occupied. From March 15th, the parking fees will change in an almost outrageous way. The day ticket will then cost 17€ instead of the previous 11€!!! This corresponds to a premium of 55%. In addition to the ticket price, the guest card costs €3.50 per person. This means that the total daily price for 2 people is €24 (check the website). After 16 years and 2-3 stays per year we say goodbye to the pitch at Ocean Wave. It´s a pity, but we don´t go along with such a rip-off. {mod}unfortunately the norm at the moment. I had campsites in the test that easily increased from around 30 euros to over 60. First it was Corona, then inflation. be happy that we don´t do that at MEINWOMO :)

As always, a very quiet place that can only be booked for 3 days. The very beautiful beach ´Avenue´ is now completely finished and invites you to take a walk.

On Mondays, after a fully occupied space, only a few motorhomes are left. There is a little more space on the gravel lot. No shade but mostly windy. Driveway is dead end therefore fairly quiet despite the parking lot for Ocean Wave. 500m to the beach promenade and the newly created sandy beach with baskets through a food court

As already mentioned, a payment process is required for the vehicle and each person. @Otherwise the paved part is neatly done, the unpaved part partly submerged after rain.

The parking space was full over New Year´s Eve, but there were far fewer Womos overall than in 2020 and earlier. Anyone who goes here should be dog-loving. I have never seen so many fur noses on one pitch. With a dog beach and agility course in a fenced-in area, Norddeich has proven to be very dog-friendly. Our four-legged friend was thrilled.

As always in the past 10 years, we were at the parking lot at the turn of the year and have to say that it is always full.. Arrived on December 27th at noon the parking space was already fully occupied and we drove to the car parking lot.. Since 2018 there has also been an extra signage for where to put womo´s.. This year it was the case that on New Year´s Eve the large car space was about 2/3 full of womo´s and the cars hardly found enough space.. To make matters worse, the hired groundsman caused more chaos than was already there.. With this amount of campers, cozy camping was the order of the day (an estimated 100 in the Womo parking space and 200 in the car parking lot) and of course the supply and disposal were completely overloaded.. And the group of mop users has caused further resentment.. For us it was definitely the last time that we were there at the turn of the year, you don´t have to do that again.. We prefer to come in the ´dead time´, use the very pleasant sauna in the ocean wave, enjoy the view in the guest´s house with a delicious beer and enjoy the fish in the starfish.

The fees (€ 7.50 including visitor´s tax) are paid in the thermal baths and then you get a discount on the thermal bath visit as a WoMo space user.. So the chapter showers and toilets is no longer an issue.. There are enough power connections and 2kw per 1 € are m.. M. n. Okay.. Disposal is available and good - water is free.. The spaces are relatively straight (we didn´t need any wedges) and also suitable for WoMo> 8m.. As a recommendation from us, the gas station ´Starfish´.. Approximately. Walk 15 minutes and then delicious fish at a real price, well prepared and served nicely!
