Very spacious parking space. Directly under the tall trees on the banks of the Main, or in front of it. @ The beautiful old town with many cafes and taverns borders directly on the park area. @Definitely worth seeing.

Very nice place right on the Main, despite the main holiday season, it wasn´t overcrowded, relatively quiet, although centrally located, short distances to the old town and for shopping, but without supplies, but good for self-sufficient standing

The rear part of the square is currently a construction site and therefore not usable, but about 10 places are signposted as alternatives. There is also a chemical toilet. You can dine very well, if not cheaply, in the Flockenwerk right next to the square. the place is very quiet at night

On our way back, half of the space was occupied by European traveling fellow citizens. Lots of noisy generator sets, every caravan had one. Most of them faced the mobile homes. . . then at least the owners had some peace and quiet in front of their own devices.

On June 13th, 2021 I was again at the Platz am Main. @Now official signs have been put up again, showing the areas to the left of the entrance for motorhomes. The front left area is now paved and for cars, the large rear area is for mobile homes. @ From a supply, disposal and electricity I have not yet seen anything.

Nothing has changed in terms of space. There were plenty of RVs here too. @ It´s just a shame that the view of the Main is hardly possible any more. The bushes grow vigorously.

After looking in vain for a Womo pictogram during our visit, we went to the tourist information office on October 13, 2020 and asked. It was confirmed that this was not an open parking space, but that Womos were tolerated. Lt. According to the employee, plans are already in progress, the entire site is to be rebuilt and a Womo-SP with supply, disposal and power columns will also be created. Unfortunately, Corona intervened and so the whole thing is delayed :-( So let´s look forward to Ochsenfurt getting a parking space in the future, because it is a really worth seeing city! *************** **** Note Prüfmo as can be seen in the pictures, there are two pictures with a mobile home sign. Therefore the space was set on a real parking space. It is possible that the city has removed these signs ???

Yes, the removal of the signs was confirmed by the employee at my request. But as written; Womo´s are tolerated, space is also free.

The place is very big, but it was quite full in September 2020. Perhaps the tolerance of staying in a Womo on this site depends on the behavior of the campers in the future, so please consider whether camping behavior makes sense here!

Even if the place is not signposted from the Womo parking space, Womo´s are very common.. After the entrance to the left is an area, not paved, which looks like it was created for womo´s.. I have stood there very quietly several times for one night.. Question test mod.. ,. ,. how??. Not signposted ??. with the pictures is one or 2 pictures, where a parking sign with Womosignet is clearly recognizable.. Is that no longer ?????
