Parking lot on the Elbe opposite the city of Pirna. Although the city´s homepage still says the opposite, in July 2020 one of our users reported that there were NO more parking spaces available for mobiles larger than 6m. Paid during the day, free at night. Can only be used for mobiles under 6m !!!!

Nice place to visit the old town of Pirna. There is a slipway right on the square. We use the space to take the folding boat to Dresden. According to the signs, you can only stand there between 5 p.m. and 9 a.m. Kind of weird.

Very narrow spaces, ferry out of service in September 2020. According to the signs you are only allowed to stand there between 5 and 9 a.m. - kind of strange. According to Touri-Info nobody controls this - unnecessary legal uncertainty! We left at 9 a.m.

The parallel parking spaces are no longer available for RVs. Is monitored by the public order office and the police. You have to drive. The other parking spaces shown allow only very small vehicles of their size.

There are only a few very narrow, designated parking spaces in car format at the edge of the square. Anyone who still stands on the longitudinal strip of the car must expect to receive a visit from the police shortly before 9 a.m., as happened with us.

We liked the place a lot. You can get to Pirna by ferry or on foot. The train traffic didn´t bother us very much personally.
