Motorhome place Riedenburg am Main-Donau-Kanal
Fairground. Quiet location by the water. Five minutes walk to the town centre. Chicken farm (?) on site, so expect some noise. Caution: During large events, the motorhome parking space is used as a fairground and is therefore closed for certain days.

Several beer gardens on site. Among them is the brewery beer garden of the Riedenburger brewery with home-brewed emmer beer according to organic principles. Emmer is a very old type of grain. You absolutely have to try the beer. It tastes simply excellent!
Located along the river to the old town and the Riedenburger brewery restaurant. Several restaurants on site.

We really liked it here. Large space right on the cycle path along the Altm¨¹hl. 11€day, water 1€100 liters, electricity 1€12 hours. @City within walking distance.

Already well attended on the WE at the end of May, but there is still a place. We recommend the cycle path from the square along the Main-Danube Canal to Dietfurt - easy. Distance approx. 17km - partly almost mystical :), fishing possibilities.

- the toilet has been closed for some time. - The parking space is NOT on the Altm hl, but on the Main-Danube Canal. -The sun disappears behind the hilltop at around 4 p.m. in September. So it gets shady. - Certainly pleasant in hot midsummer, but. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . -no WiFi at the place. Difficult even in town. - very good baker on the market square. - The brewery restaurant parallel to the parking space is closed. - There is a kind of chicken farm with ducks right next to the pitch. If you don´t mind being woken up in the morning at sunrise with tenfold persistent cocks of Kikeriki, this is the right place for you.

A parking space that was laid out by the city of Riedenburg like a large campsite. Electricity, VuE are available, small amounts of water for drinking water are free. Currently in 2021 only the public toilet at the beginning of the entire park area is open. Because it is used by all visitors to Riedenburg, it is not particularly clean.

The adjacent chicken farm is very noisy at night, try to find a place at the other end of the spacious parking space. V and E available, 8, - € appropriate. Drei Burgen Weg highly recommended.

One should be compelling.. If you drive downhill from the mountain via Thann and use the St2231 to Riedenburg.The access through the place over the Burgstraße is at the church only 2 m wide.
