The site is now gravelled and can be used easily even in rainy weather. Thanks to the city! Unfortunately, the fresh water column has been defective for over a year. This has to be repairable! @In a letter to the city administration in the middle of last year, I pointed out that fellow citizens from the EU (motor vehicle license plates RO, SZ, CK, BG), who live in vans without sanitary facilities and in cars, are populating the square. That´s what the surroundings look like. I have observed several times that these people use the electricity columns, even if they are not on the RV parking space. One of the 8 sockets is defective, which is stupid if you then need electricity. @Where do these people relieve themselves? In the bushes behind the car. The city apparently doesn´t want or can do anything about it.

Quite ok for staying overnight and visiting Schwäbisch Hall and the Kunsthalle. Naturally no water in February

Unfortunately, the tapping point for fresh water has been out of order for at least four weeks. It is unclear that the city cannot manage to repair the extraction point.

Maybe you can´t expect anything from a free place (in a nice location and very quiet). But the rainwater leaves big puddles. As a result, some campers occupy two spaces in order to be able to get out of their vehicle with reasonably dry feet.

Since our last visit in 2018 (at that time the disposal was still under construction) the place has become more and more neglected, the rain puddles are even bigger. . . No reference for the otherwise very beautiful city.

It is a great concession that the place is free. I would, however, be happy to pay a fee if the ground were gravel or paved with grass pavers. We were on the 17th18th. 03. here, days before, it had rained. There was water in large puddles on the pitch, getting in and out of the mobile home was always associated with dirty shoes, even when laying the power cable, cables and hands got dirty. Otherwise, the place is recommended, REWE is almost around the corner, beautiful bike paths lead to the beautiful old town. With its half-timbered and town houses, the cultural-historical monuments and the Würth Museum, it is well worth seeing. We only met friendly people there. Gastro tip: Ratskeller and the brewhouse. {mod}if you don´t already have it, it would be great
