update March 2024: At the beginning of March the machine was covered again. Free standing possible. The cover will probably be removed in April (see Pedder55´s entry) and reinstalled in the fall. There is no information on the cover. The motorhome additional sign 100m in front of the site remains unchanged. @The (clean) composting toilet is now open (bring your own paper). @Because of the lack of information about the costs and the previous unpleasant experiences with the public order office, the overall rating is only satisfactory. There are still no markings for the 4 (?) places and the meadow is not passable in March.

The machine is now operational. It is now a regular parking space for 10 euros. A maximum of 4 mobile homes can now be parked here. The compost toilet is closed. Alternatively, there are 2 Dixieklos in place.

Update March 2023: The shelter with benches is now finished, as well as the toilet. The latter still closed. @The parking ticket machine is completely covered with a cover. No indication of the need for payment. @Because at the entrance to the P sign there is still only the mobile home additional sign without any additional signs, one could assume that the parking space is currently free of charge. The unfriendly ladies from the public order office could of course have a different opinion, but they probably appear rather seldom at this time of the year. @Remains to be seen whether the cover of the machine will be removed soon, or whether the community will not agree on whether you want to have campers here or not. 10.-€ are definitely too much for this place.

There are various construction activities on site. Water hiking rest areas are created at the canal. Probably mainly for this purpose there is a new covered picnic area and a toilet. @Furthermore, there is a parking ticket machine that was not yet in operation in Nov. 2022. Printed price for 24 hours: 10 euros. @ There are no new signs (yet). @ So it can be assumed that the place will be officially released for mobile homes again and will cost 10 euros per day. @ Even with a toilet, it´s definitely too expensive and shows that campers are actually not wanted here. Apparently they are more focused on water tourists. @Will check next spring.

We now had a visit from two ladies from the public order office. Same arguments as described by helmutmatz7. @ It is only a parking space, not a motorhome parking space. One night is STILL tolerated. There will be new signs coming soon. @We then had to drive 5m back because standing on the front part of the meadow (which is separated by stones) would not be allowed. . . @The arguments sound very constructed and, if you have a good knowledge of the STVO, they could probably be, for example. T. refute. @ The fact is that mobile homes are no longer wanted on this site. It is possible that there will actually be new signs before the start of the holiday season that explicitly prohibit overnight stays. @Very shame about this beautiful place.

Very nice place and in the off-season only occupied with two / three Womos. The public order office did not come by for three days - that was possibly due to the excessive rush this summer?

The security service appears every day and points out that only one parking space and a maximum of one night´s stay are allowed in order to be able to drive. However, there is no indication of this, although there is a parking lot sign with the RV logo, as is the case with other parking spaces.

Nice place, paved or on meadow, no VEDirectly at the bridge over the canal that leads to the Oder-Neisse bike path.
