Have been here several times with the motorhome. Very nice quiet parking space. Stood here in September 2022 with another 2 campers one night. In the morning the three mobile homes with Kuhsch. . . smeared. @Probably the parking space is not wanted for some from the area or something bigger should probably be created here! {mod} please note this is not a parking space! it is a parking lot, which is also evident from the signet. . . .

As an employee of the Walting municipality told us, an investor wants to build a new square here. However, the spatial planning process is still ongoing. The municipality itself would prefer to leave the place as it is, but is obviously under pressure from above. Can´t imagine if something like that in Beilngries could come about!!! As we were told, the initiative for the redesign obviously came from the Altmühltal Nature Park Information Center. @The Altmühlindianer has already cleared his area.

The given coordinates are wrong, they are in the southern river bed of the Altmühl. Our NAVI showed us 1 km to the destination when we had already arrived. Obviously, a change is planned in the area of the parking spaces, since the ´Altmühlindianer´ resident on the site has already been terminated. That could also be the reason why no more was collected. Please change the coordinates, otherwise you will end up in the Altmühl!?!

On July 15th 2020 the place was still free for Corona reasons. Fee now at 5 euros. Will be collected in the evening. The toilet was open and you can get drinking water at the toilet house. Trash can for all types of waste. Benches and tables on the mooring. Right on the bike path. Local about 700m way. Large plain meadow.
