Payment via pay machine in cash, with debit or credit card.
According to the Platz homepage, the sanitary building should now be available (2024).

The parking space has been completely redesigned. The sanitary facilities are not yet open. A user therefore only gives the place a grade of “sufficient”! He apparently didn´t understand the purpose of the motorhome. Motorhome is independent.

The parking space has very spacious individual spaces and was probably financed and built in the course of the state garden show planned for 2024. It´s just a pity that the entire floor space was paved. There seem to be problems with the payment system from time to time, no matter how advanced and technically simple it should work. At the entrance you buy a ticket at the barrier with a QR code on it with which you can call up both electricity and water. When you pay at the machine, the total statement appears. After paying the sum in cash or with a card, you get the ticket for the exit barrier back and it opens - but only if you feel like it!!! Again and again, helpless WOMO drivers stood at the exit that was not released. Something seems to be wrong with the programming, because when the seat was almost empty, the electronic display showed only two empty seats. The way to the next bakery (approx. 15 minutes at a brisk pace) can be regarded as morning exercise.

Attention: Take care of the parking ticket, if lost it costs 100 euros. In addition, there was a camper in front of us who only fetched water and they asked for 16 euros.

The parking space is laid out in an exemplary manner, but the location is not ideal. The square is right next to the railway line, the ring road and the sports fields. Accordingly, there is noise pollution.

Great place, technically on a SUPER level: everything is served and billed via the parking ticket, payment on departure with money or card - that´s absolutely exemplary! There is even an information terminal. According to the tourist office, the sanitary building will be built this year (next year there is a state garden show). TOP is: the number of free places can be checked at any time on the Internet at www. wangen tourism. de can be queried online with the small WoMo symbol at the top right. The train line didn´t bother us at all: due to the proximity of the station, all trains sneak through here, at least as long as we were there. And it´s just under a kilometer to the city center via the sports field and then the pedestrian bridge.

In 2024, the city of Wangen will host the Baden-Württemberg State Garden Show and the area of the Am Klösterle mobile home parking area will be needed for this. 39 parking spaces, a sanitary building with showers and toilets, a modern supply and disposal station and electricity pillars are planned. Parking lot 18 is currently on the site. Access to the new site will then be via the Südring, which will make getting there and back much easier. Due to its central location, the facilities for daily needs (supermarket, bakery) are only a few minutes´ walk away.
