A visit to the Bing cave and the nearby castles should be planned. Great hikes are possible. The local restaurants are worth visiting. The nearby Bamberg is also worth a detour.

What were those in charge thinking here? Should €10 for a place with zero amenities be a deterrent? You have to pay in a complicated way by bank transfer, the new garbage cans have a disposal limit, ie you cannot (or only individually) get rid of RV waste. And when I was there, early on Saturday morning, work was being done on a mobile sawmill 5 meters from the parking space. You are also not allowed to go to the water (anymore), newly erected signs prohibit access from the parking space. Pity! It used to be nice here.
