The campsite is located on the banks of the Elbe. The bridgehead is part of a historic fortification. Very well maintained facility. There is a lot on offer here. Bread service, drinks and food service in the reception. All pitches have electricity, water, sewage, cable connection and hot spot option for internet connections. Scullery, children´s bathroom in the sanitary building, family bathroom in the sanitary building, dog bath.
The TV lounge, internet, table tennis, beach volleyball, large chess and fitness room are available for use.
Distance to the center is approx. 2 km.
The surface is pretty straight. Mosquito repellent is recommended at the appropriate time of year.
Babies are also chargeable.

We were there at 12.00, locked iron gate, it is described that everything is monitored with a camera, so we stand in front of the iron gate, the gate opens, a person tells us (very unfriendly) that we can choose a seat and at 3.00 p.m .00 with the completed form must be available when registering. @Lunchtime 11:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.@Price incl. everything incl. WLAN with code, @WOMO, 2 people, €35, plus €5 if only one night@ In the meantime, want to get out with the bikes before 3:00 p.m into the city, unfortunately we were locked in......@at 3:00 p.m. we were at the registration desk and want to leave, being locked in is not possible@but the three hours of being locked in cost 10 €@ we are told because of a lack of staff , everything is reduced, zero offer for a lot of money.

one stands in front of a locked iron gate and a billboard. No references to opening times, nothing. Called there after googling a phone number. After I had to cancel a reservation, I was rudely told that camping would not be possible. When asked whether it was due to Corona and how to make a reservation, I was literally avedged. *************************** Note Pr fmod: why did you have to google the phone number ??? Is the number given here no longer correct?

Huge promotional items in the MZ on Friday. Great, that would be something for us. We don´t live too far away, let´s have a look. First without WO-MO. Arrival car park in front of the reception. A woman comes out of the house and yells at us frantically: Don´t get out of the car, stay in the car, she repeats this violently and aggressively, doesn´t let us have a say. She hurls the word CORONA at us like a weapon. There is no business, no one else to be seen. We would have loved to have a look at the square. We are not teenagers, not rebellious young vandals, but two solid seniors (80 years old). We were downright chased AWAY by this person !!! Bridgehead is for us forever (NO)
