- Bönnigheim <9> <9> is a town in the north of the district of Ludwigsburg, located on the edge of Stromberg and Zabergäu.. The nearest major cities are Ludwigsburg and Heilbronn.. First documented mention of the place in Lorsch Codez to 793. <9> <9> History <9> <9> The place belonged to the monastery Lorsch and thus the Hochstift Mainz.. The monastery Hirsau later bought the place to fief and sold it in 1284 to the monastery Bebenhausen..
