The beginnings of the park date back to 1987. To date, 22 works of art in different styles are available on loan. The artists come from Schleswig-Holstein or have a connection to this region.

It is a spacious animal park of old, almost extinct domestic and livestock breeds. There are many shelters along the paths in case it rains. The physical well-being is also taken care of.
