- Seit Ende Oktober 2009 wartet die Th�ringer Landeshauptstadt Erfurt mit einem neuen Highlight auf: In der Alten Synagoge Erfurt � dem �ltesten erhaltenen j�dischen Gebetshaus in Mitteleuropa � ist jetzt dauerhaft der Erfurter Schatz ausgestellt. Im Jahr 1349 w�hrend des Pestpogroms versteckt, wurde er erst 1998 wiederentdeckt. <9>Der mit Abstand umfangreichste Fund dieser Art wiegt insgesamt fast 30 Kilogramm und besteht aus Tausenden Silberm�nzen, 14 silbernen Barren sowie mehr als 600 Goldschmiedearbeiten: Ringe und Broschen, G�rtelteile und Gewandschmuck aus dem 13. und 14.
