Update June 2017 Unfortunately, the idyll in what was once the most mobile home-friendly municipality in Greece is a bit fickle in the early summer of 2017, please read the corresponding comments.
In the Epirus region, between the cities of Igoumenitsa and Preveza, you can stand very well in Ammoudia on the river.
Nice place between the Acheron and the bay on a headland, sometimes a little ticklish to drive, as there is a paragraph between the concrete of the path and the natural ground (sand).
At this place there are brick pillars with lighting.
There is a beach shower.
At the harbor boat tours to Parga are offered
Greek gas bottles can be exchanged in the taverna across from the ´wood´
In the high season (July / August), small trucks with fruit and vegetables from the region come by almost every day, and they sell from and to fishermen freshly their catch

ok, you can safely forget the rating of previous years for Ammoudia as a mobile home-friendly community. We stood at this spot for 1.5 hours for lunch within sight of the bollards that are still there at the start of the pier. @ With us probably also to eat a French mobile home. All in all, a completely oppressive atmosphere for Ammoudia, you just don´t feel comfortable there anymore, which we think is a shame, as it was our favorite place for years. But you can also understand the local residents. . Up to 100 (!!) mobile homes on such a small area in summer is guaranteed to be extremely annoying.

We were there in July. It is forbidden to camp. A barrier blocks the access to the square at the Acheron. Too bad. The police came by almost every day.
