Evaluation parking Skalas-Gytheiou
According to Gythio, there is a beautifully walled spring with fresh water on the beach, which also has a small parking bay. Since we did not find anything for the night in the otherwise strategic places (port) in Gythio (camping prohibition signs everywhere) you could also stay here in the spring car park for one night. Although it is right on the coastal road, it was very quiet at night itself. The view of the bay is terrific, and cruisers often anchor in the bay. The best thing is the wonderful sunrise for breakfast.

Coming from Gythio drive along the beach promenade in the direction of Skala. The source comes after about 1-2km after Gythio on the right side, not to be missed.
