The campsite is in a 7ha park with old trees. Unfortunately, apparently nothing is invested in the space anymore: the existing showers and toilets are clean, but outdated. A second sanitary building is closed and rotten. The campsite was not open in May 2013 either. With the S-Bahn (stop near the square, ticket machine on the square) you can quickly get to either downtown Budapest or Szentendre.

The place is ideal if you come to Budapest from the north (Esztergom, Szentendre). You save yourself the tedious and congested city crossing. If you are also good ´by bike´, you can reach the city center after 9 km on the EuroVelo bike path 6 or the Danube cycle path. The operators are very friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, the campsite makes a neglected impression, the large park looks neglected, the sanitary facilities work well and are clean, but they are totally outdated and outdated, the camping site is still closed. There are only a few guests, there were two or three of us. So we had the whole park almost to ourselves. The reception is currently only open in the morning (Corona),If you arrive later, you can call a number (information sheet hangs at the reception - see picture) and the gate will be opened a short time later. You also get a key for the front door. Telephone registration would be advisable. On the Danube, in about 1 km distance, there are many restaurants and entertainment options, Aldi and Lidl are nearby for shopping. Our conclusion: a shame about the really nice place.
