The mini market now consists of 3 machines for coffee, chips, beer and soft drinks, the bar is now closed mid-May, doubtful if it will ever open again. The beach is beautiful, but like almost everywhere in Sicily, you have to ignore the garbage everywhere.

Die angegebene Anzahl der Stellplätze, 120, ist sicher viel zu hoch gegriffen. Auf Grund der Größe des Platzes gibt es sicher nicht einmal die Hälfte. Leider funktioniert bei mir zur Zeit auch seine Homepage nicht.

Das große Plus bei diesem Platz ist seine Lage - direkt am schönen Sandstrand. Die Sanitäranlagen sind sehr in die Jahre gekommen, funktionieren aber tadellos. Eine warme Dusche kostet 1. 50 Euro, das Wasser rinnt aber nur 3 Minuten 30 Sekunden, da heißt es schnell sein. Versorgung, Entsorgung klappt vorzüglich! Die schattigen, vor Wind geschützten Stellplätze sind gut, haben aber einen großen Nachteil: es gibt sehr viele Stechmücken.

This place was closed at the end of November 2021. We weren´t the only ones standing in front of the locked gate. *********************Note test mod: this is really annoying, but unfortunately it happens very often, especially with the Italian courses. The campsite website linked here expressly states that it is open all year round, both in the price list (January 1st - December 31st) and in the text. Quote:Neptune the ideal place for vacation and relaxation making camping enjoyable even all year round.
