Like ´roland112´ I can only recommend the place below. In October we stood there alone for 3 nights. An easy-to-walk hiking trail leads directly from the square to fantastic views in around 30 minutes.

it was too windy for us in the parking lot of the gondola. The car even wobbled through the trees. We drove back down and took a dirt road on the left, gravel, several hundred meters to the rear. Besides us there were 6 other campers. We found a flat spot, a little sheltered from the wind next to a hill. Lt. Navi N 42 26.6156 and O 013 35. 0624height 1807m
