Motorhome place Area Sosta Camper Parma
VE for transients 4 euros (parking for 1 hour). No caravans permitted. Since spring 2010, a committed and enthusiastic Italian motorhome driver has opened this place in front of the city of Parma. It is located in a fenced-off part of a larger parking lot, directly behind the noise barrier of the Tangentiale ovest. So no noise from the side, just tolerable noise from the parking lot.
There is a complete, clean sanitary building with sinks for dishes.
The operator has set up a cozy wooden hut at the barrier-secured entrance, which serves as a reception and a bar (here, upon request, the operator also prepares delicious snacks such as pasta etc. and serves a freshly tapped Königs-Pilsener). The course is fully under video surveillance and is open all year round from 7 a.m. to midnight. There is a Lidl opposite.
The bus connection to the city center is good, the bus takes about 10 minutes. But Parma is also a bike-friendly city.
A visit and a chat with the friendly English-speaking operator is highly recommended!

Most dedicated groundskeeper in Italy!! Free city and bus map, good internet near the reception, relatively quiet despite being close to the motorway, toilets and showers only open until 7 p.m.!

The groundskeeper came straight to us with the information. (Citymap etc.) Bus into the city every 15 minutes. Indeed a place on a large street with a noise barrier. But ok for one night.
