The caravan park is embedded in the breathtaking mountain landscape of the rear Schnalstal - the place where Ötzi was found. Regarding the payment system, please see comments
In summer it is the starting point for wonderful family hikes or high-alpine mountain tours and in winter you can start skiing on the Schnalstal glacier directly from the pitch. The center of Kurzras with restaurants and shops is only a few minutes´ walk away. Only professionals should venture into the Schnalstal with a caravan, as the winding road from 500 m to 2000 m is certainly not for everyone. But no problem with the mobile home.

The payment system has changed. @You scan an AR code, then have to register and pay online with license plate and ID. You will then receive a QR code by email. This is used for the entrance, the sanitary building and the exit. This means that you can drive in and out as often as you like if you are staying for several days. @The daily rate of 30 euros is calculated on an hourly basis, ie 21.00 drive in, the next day up to 20.59 drive out=30 euros.

The location of the terraced course is great, surrounded by 3000m peaks, you have a fantastic panorama. Clean sanitary facilities with shower and washing facilities, electricity and waste disposal. @The first 4 hours in 2022 cost 8 euros, the daily rate is 30 euros.

Coming from Meran or Reschen you drive up to the end of the valley. The camper parking is located at the entrance of Kurzras on the left below the road. No through traffic.
