Small but nice natural campsite without the typical campsite feeling. Under the supervision of the Dutch national forest authority. Danger! Annual pass -Natuurkampeerkaart- (valid for all Dutch nature campsites) required!
Absolute feeling of nature, very calm. In the middle of the nature reserve -Zanderdennen Kootwijk-. Great starting point for long hikes and bike tours in the beautiful dune area and heather area. Worth seeing: The architecturally very interesting, free-standing Art Deco building of the former long-wave transmitter Radio Kootwijk in the middle of the extensive heathland.

Take exit Kootwijk the A1 (E30).. The small town Kootwijk straight drive through.. After the place to the last farm at the fork left the Heetweg and turn left into the Noorderheideweg.. After about 300 m left in the forest direction Forsthaus turn (watch out for a wooden sign -Zanderdennen-)
