We experienced a complete tour through the workshop and a demonstration of the handcraft grinding process in the gemstone cutting shop. All questions were answered patiently by Karl, the boss, in several languages ​​if necessary. Within walking distance you can visit some of the abandoned mines that are unfortunately full of water and still find beautiful stones in the spoil heaps. Sturdy shoes are recommended! There should be 8 or 9 excavation sites in total. Because of the heavy rain we gave up looking for 3 pits. A highlight for all stone seekers.
