There are several pitches on the water.. You can go with a small boat over the lake to the glacier (ca.1h) then a foot walk to the glacier directly.. Absolutely solid footwear, good condition, firm clothing.. You can also walk around the lake.. Do not wait for the boat to leave the boat at the time of return.. When you have done everything, you are rewarded with a magnificent sight.. The path itself to the glacier is very badly marked, only sometimes by red spray points, or small towers of stones.. It is also important to pay attention to the warnings, as you can walk up to the water (the glacier calves and the big water flows on the shore).

A camera scans the No. sign and the bill comes in the mail. @You can spend the night there at the boat dock or in the meadow under the trees with a camper. @The boat trip now costs 300 kr. @This includes the overnight stay. @There is fresh water and a toilet. @Kiosk is open from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
