upate 2022: At the entrance to the site there is a sign saying that mobile homes are welcome, but there is a ban on overnight stays. According to the parking sign, camping is prohibited, but campers are allowed to stay overnight
The parking lot is located directly between the five-star Hotel Fortaleza do Guincho and the restaurant Mar do Guincho, on a small bay. One beach further, the toilets of the Hotel Estalagem Muchaxo can be used. You´re never alone there, a few motorhomes from all over the world or surfers´ campers stay here.

At the entrance to the site there is a sign saying that mobile homes are welcome, but overnight stays are not allowed. I suspect a connection with the fact that the whole area belongs to the Natura 2000 protected area, which means a general ban on overnight stays. However, we stood undisturbed with several mobiles and with a bad feeling. A faucet is at the top of the street.
