Huge parking lot directly on the banks of the Guadiana border river, which is regularly used by several RVs, even for longer periods. Unfortunately no shopping opportunities. Water can be fetched with a watering can from a ´wash house´ (stone float) on the street. Disposal also possible. Really great view! The visit is worth it.

On all my digital maps, this area is designated as an area for auto caravans. There is not only water and waste, but toilet with shower and the possibility to empty the cassette. We stayed 10 campers overnight in May. Much fuller in season for sure.

Place is very big. You are wonderfully on the river, very quiet, but without infrastructure. @The public toilet should not be misused out of respect for the residents of the place, not as disposal!!!!@Original Portugal with friendly residents. Small restaurant and cafe available.

Coming from Spain: take the first left immediately after the bridge. Then pass the square until it is possible to turn left and then immediately left again. The access is very narrow, you will probably have to maneuver (a hairpin bend). Be sure to take the lane to the bottom left, the right lane does not lead onto the square, even if it looks like it.
