Divided large parking area about 1.5 km away from downtown, on the road from the new market hall (high bridge over the river Gilao) to the ferry to the beaches on the island of Ilha de Tavira, Parque Natural da Ria Formosa. In winter, popular and well attended parking between the street Estrada, the 4 Águas Gilao and the river, directly left of the small marina and restaurant, ca.250m before the end of the road, ferry terminal. On the other side of the road further views of the saline up to Tavira. At the small parking lot in front of the ferry dock, across from the customs station, is an outhouse with the possibility of water can fill and if necessary, once disposed of sewage to. My details below to use / tolerance of mobile homes may vary. In the (summer) season the whole area is crowded with cars.WARNING - PLACE IS NO LONGER USABLE !
