Coliseu Figueirense na Figueira da Foz “Bullfighting in Figueira da Foz”. The Coliseu is mainly used for bullfighting events in the summer when there are many tourists. There are also neighborhood festivals here and the students from Coimbra come here to have a big festival where they ´fight´ young bulls.

Forte de Santa Catarina from Figueira da Foz (Old Fort). We walked to the old fort but they are in the process of restoring it so won´t open it from the inside. On the beach side of the fort is a modern pond that was full of green slime and smelled horribly. The pond needs a good clean!!
