Anyone who puts out the table and chairs must expect a fine. One parking space in a large parking lot. on a hill not far from the walls of the historic center of Ainsa.
Magnificent view of the Peña Montañesa 2. 291 m asl.
Nice stopover on the way back from Spain to France along the Rio Cinca to the Bielsa tunnel 2,000m above sea level.

We spent an afternoon and night here on the drive south. You can easily spend 2 or 3 days here. Visiting the castle and staying there is worthwhile.

From the south: Huesca N240, turn off the N-123, then N-138 direction Ainsa, along the reservoir Sobrabe on the ridge road with stunning views of the blue lake.. At the beginning of Ainsa turn left (small road) up the mountain to the parking lots.. The sign-Castillo P-follow.. The car park is located west of the fort.
