Parking above the Trollhättan lock. From here you have a great view of the incoming and outgoing ships. You can walk across the lock to the old Trollhättan Canal with the lock stairs. There is a café and a small kiosk at the lock.

As others have written - arrive in good time, as it is quickly occupied! @ From here you can walk through the lock area and to the power plant - with very nice views. @Toilets and showers are on the other side of the lock.

Nice parking space with a view of the lock. Very popular, free places are only available in the morning. Entry and exit only possible with a credit card. There is no ticket. If you arrive before 12:00 p.m., the fractional hours until 12:00 p.m. will be charged at 25SEK per hour in addition to the daily fee. The same applies to departures after 12:00 p.m.

The parking space is officially operated by Sjöfartsverket, is subject to a fee and occupancy is controlled by traffic lights and barriers. If everything is occupied, the traffic light is red and the barrier does not open. The tourist office has also moved and is now in the middle of the city. Follow the signs to the Saab Bilmuseum, continue until you see the parking space on the left.
