From St ckalp you can drive on a narrow road to one of the most beautiful skiing / hiking areas in Switzerland - Melchsee-Frutt. The lower part of the parking lot is reserved for mobile homes (actually, but there are always cars there). The village is car-free. Melchsee-Frutt is also a paradise for anglers.
